Ratings Report:
- NBC’s AMERICA’S GOT TALENT: THE CHAMPIONS landed a solid 1.9 in adults 18-49 and had 9.94 million viewers making it the most-watched series premiere this year so far. The new spin-off show brings back former contestants and finalists from other AMERICA’s GOT TALENT franchises and seasons to compete again. Susan Boyle, the BRITAIN’S GOT Talent’s stand out, made an incredible return and was sent straight to the finals. AMERICA’S GOT TALENT premiered this past summer with a 2.5 but the spin off’s preliminary rating of 1.8 was still a strong start for this winter series.
- THE BACHELOR on ABC returned last night with a new virgin bachelor (first of its kind) and a cringey THREE-hour premiere. The very boring first hour was a live stream of ABC’s viewing party with some of its audience in a hot tub (super weird) and playing games. If you were able to make it more than an hour in, you were able to finally see Colton (the bachelor) meet his 30 contestants (including one that faked an Australian accent in an attempt to make herself stand out, HA). The BACHELOR matched its premiere rating from last year at 1.5 in 18-49 but was down in total viewers from 5.10 million in 2018 and 5.48 million last night.
- HAPPY TOGETHER on CBS was up a tenth from its last episode. The rest of CBS' broadcasts were reruns.
- FOX and the CW ran reruns.
