RATINGS SUMMARY

  • Night 5 of the Olympics on NBC was at a 6.4, down a half a point from Sunday’s 6.9 but easily crushing everything else in sight. Tonight Bob Costas will not be at the helm due to the disgusting eye infection he’s been battling in Sochi.
  • On ABC the Bachelor tied its season low of 2.3, down from 2.6 last week.
  • On Fox Almost Human hit its series low of 1.5, down 22% from last week’s 1.9. As mentioned yesterday, his series is not long for the world. The Following also hit a series low of 1.7, down from 1.9 last week.
  • And for CBS Intelligence dipped two tenths to a 1.3.

OTHER NEWS

  • Subject to regulatory approval, Warner Brothers has agreed to acquire all on Eyeworks’ NON-US operations, including companies in Europe, South America, Australia and New Zealand. Once the deal is finalized, this will add 13 new countries to Warner Brother’s roster of production companies.Eyeworks founder and CEO Reinout Oerlemans will move to Los Angeles to become chairman of Eyeworks USA, whose COO Ross Weintraub and President Brant Pinvidic will remain on in their current roles.
  • In an interesting move, Seth Meyers announced that his band leader for Late Night will be former SNL cast-mate and Portlandia co-creator Fred Armisen.
