RATINGS SUMMARY
- NBC took the double victory courtesy of AGT as usual on a Tuesday night.....
- AGT was easily the number one show of the night in demo although it only just beat a NCIS repeat in total people. Although AGT won the night, it tied its season low rating in demo
- Fox and Spanish speaking Univision tied for second in demo with So You Think You Can Dance leading the charge for Fox. It was another fantastic show and it won the 8pm hour (AGT beat it in the 9pm hour) although NCIS smashed it in total people. SYTYCD was down 7% from last week in demo...
- The good run ended for ABC with Extreme Weight Loss dropping 6% from last week in demo
- Last AND least was the CW - a new episode of Whose Line Is It Anyway? was down 11% while Capture was on par with last week
OTHER NEWS
- NBC have flogged a single interview with Jimmy Fallon like nothing I have ever seen. As you know, Jimmy will take over the Late Show from Jay Leno and the Today show did an interview with him that I have seen excerpts from every day for more than a week. I really like Fallon but it's not an interview with Elvis. I am all for cross promotion but this is getting ridiculous.
- Fox are seriously ramping up promotion for Fox Sports 1 which launches August 17. NBC Sports Network are getting left behind in the hype over the new sports channels...
