RATINGS REPORT
- The Olympics on NBC showed a respectable 5.0, but still down from last Wednesday’s 5.6 and the 5.5 from the equivalent night in Vancouver.
- Idol on Fox was down a tenth to a 2.6 from Tuesday’s 2.7 - a significant dip from last Wednesday’s 3.4.
- For CBS Criminal Minds was down 14% from its last original episode to a 2.4. CSI matched its last original with a 2.0.
- Super Fun Night on ABC hit a series low of 0.9, down a whopping 31% from last week’s 1.3.
OTHER NEWS
- US broadcasters scored a big win against Aero, with a federal judge issuing an injunction against the streaming service. This is by no means the final word on whether Aero’s digital streaming of FTA broadcasts will be deemed legal in the US, but certainly a victory for the broadcasters.
