Beat The Best - Talpa
A TALPA production - currently in final negotiations with NBC. Likely to run in 2014 with America's Got Talent airing in the summer and Beat The Best possibly in the fall. 7 x 1 hours with a 2 hour finale.
OUTLINE: a competition performance show covering three categories - music, dance and variety. Acts perform and are scored by the three judges. Whoever has the highest score, sits in the "hot seat" - whoever has the highest score at the end of the show, goes through to the final.
The final will feature the top 10 contestants from the previous weeks but in the final, the score is a combination of the judges and the studio audience.
